Habar Habusheed is a Federation consisting of 4 brothers who share the same mother

1. Axmed (Tol Jeclo)

2. Muuse (Habar Jeclo)

3. Ibraahim (Sanbuur)

4. Maxamed (Cimraan)

Habar Jeclo consists of 90% of Habar Habar Habusheed and mainly live in, Jarar Zone, Togdheer, Saxil, Sool and Sanaag.

Tol Jeclo mainly live in Maroodi Jeex, Djibouti, Fafan Zone and Harar

Sanbuur live in Togdheer and Sanaag

Ibraan live in Togdheer and Jarar Zone

Habar Habusheed decend from the Harari wife of Sheikh Isaaq, which ties us to the historical city of Harar.

The Tol Jeclo were the kings of the Isaaqs in the aftermath of the fall of Adal for 8 generations until the overthrow of Dhuux Baraar by an alliance of other Isaaq subclans. This caused the Tol Jeclo to scatter and settle with the Habar Awal in Maroodi Jeex. A section of them fled to Djibouti where they became the Hooroone Subclan of Cisse.

They were later joined by some Yeesif HJs fleeing from the civil war with Adaan Madoobe who became the Wardiiq Subclan. The Wardiiq are the Ugaaska Guud of Cisse.

Many among the Tol Jeclo moved to Harar where they became Hararized, speaking Fluent Harari among themselves.

The only Somali in the central committee of the Derg was a Tol Jeclo from Harar.
