Teff grows well in arid regions like many of Somaliland. It is a good substitute for wheat, is gluten free and high In protein. Teff also has small seeds meaning a small amount will be able to cover a huge area.
The Government of Somaliland should sponsor farmers to grow this useful crop and use it as a staple in our foods.
